Narcissa hugged her back hard, as if trying to fit years of hugs missed into this one. She had a wide smile on her face when she stepped back, pulling her cloak tighter about her to stay warm.
"I'm very well," she said honestly. "Lucius was hurt recently, but I can't complain about having him home more often. And this has been a month for spending time with family. I'm enjoying it quite a bit, actually."
She was very aware of the differences between their circumstances, that Andromeda was in danger every minute of the day, whereas she was only in danger when she chose to do things like this. She could only imagine what that must be like, and she was grateful that her choices had led her to a place where she didn't have to know.
