Frank slipped away from the others when he noticed that Remus had stepped away as well. The younger man was thinking about something that Frank couldn't even begin to understand, but he he knew they had more or less the same feeling. This castle was once warm and inviting, now it was dark, and cold. It was but an empty shell of what it once was. How completely sad.
"It's okay," Frank whispered at Remus as he approached him. His ears strained to hear every little sound from the hallway, even if Remus was probably better at it than he was. "We all miss it, but this is no longer the place we called home."
