"Yeah," Frank answered and smiled. "I'm here." It took all the control Frank could muster up not to demand who had obviously been hurting Neville. Had he been in a different position, he would have demanded an answer and then marched himself right to the Headmaster's office to blast the door right off it's hinges. No one would have gotten away with this if he had any say, which, unfortunately he didn't. Quickly, Frank hugged his son, having missed him terribly, and despite everything, he was glad he was alive. Questions about the scar Frank could see through the darkness would be asked by Alice no doubt. He wanted to say Neville looked like hell, just to make him laugh at least. It would be in bad taste, Frank thought, so he didn't.
