"I'd have to put you back together again," Theodore said, laughing. He wasn't laughing at her, he was just tired, and everything was starting to be funny. He pointed his finger at her and swished it like a wand. "Reparo."
It wasn't supposed to do anything, of course, because she wasn't an inanimate object, he wasn't using his wand, and she wasn't broken. But it amused him, all the same.
But then she fell over in her chair, and he got to his feet in surprise, shoving his own chair backwards. "Shelly?" he asked, kneeling by her side. Had he done that, with his silly little pretend wandless magic trick? It hadn't felt like he'd actually cast a spell of any kind, but he was exhausted. He couldn't tell.
He offered a hand to help her up. "C'mon, up you get, let me have a look at that bump."
