"I don't rightly know, do I?" Ginny asked with a half-laugh. "I'm not the git who took 'em!" She watched him flinch and smirked a little. "Serves you right, for running on it. You went and got it all wedged in there and I haven't got a proper pair of tweezers like." She frowned at his foot, wrinkling her nose. "Hmm..." This was going to be trickier than she'd hoped.
"Stop whinging." She said automatically. "I have to be able to see it don't I? And I have to clean it out a bit cause it'll get all infected like, which is what we're trying to avoid." She wiped at it again, trying to clear out the cut a little. "Here, squeeze my hand if it hurts that bad." She propped his foot up on her knees and held out her left hand as she continued cleaning out the cut.
