In anticipation of their nieces' visit, Narcissa had gone to the kitchens to bake. She had been doing so less often this week, since Lucius needed good, healthy food and not sugary treats to get well. But she always liked having biscuits ready for company, especially since Ella had requested them.
She lost track of time in the kitchen, missing Vera and Ella's arrival. But she finished as soon as she could and went to find Lucius, only to find that the girls had already arrived.
"Hello, you three," she said, smiling at the sight of them. She adored Ella and Vera, and knew that they must have been worried about Lucius while he was absent from school. "Biscuits, anyone?"
