It was a quarter to six, and Percy was just finishing his workload for the day. He had plans to meet Fred and George in fifteen minutes, and all of his copy was complete. His pieces were sent off to Rita Skeeter for final approval, and he had the names he needed from Ginny. In his shoulder bag he had a large leather pouch full of gold he intended to use to at least get in with his brothers. They didn't have to trust him, they just needed to take his money and get information for all of the people on the run.
Really, it was a perfect plan, at least, Percy had thought so. Checking his desk again, and seeing that it was as organized as he liked it, he checked his watch. He would be early, and he knew that the twins would make him wait. They would do it to see if he was serious about seeing them, and to make sure no one was watching Percy. In a way, he somewhat admired them when they were careful like that. It proved to him that they did in fact think before doing things.
A second later, Percy disappeared from his office and reappeared in an alleyway between a few stores. Hand on his wand, he tapped the tip to his chin and out grew a scruffy brown beard. The color of his hair also turned brown and he slipped his wand into his coat pocket. Taking a few deep breaths, Percy reminded himself this was for Ginny, otherwise, he wouldn't have even bothered. This was for his mother and his sister, he reminded himself and stepped out into the crowd, blending in with them at once.
