Anthony had realized, pretty soon after moving in with Terrence, that unless he wanted to be stuck inside of a flat all day long he was going to have to find a good disguise. After making the mistake once of using some of Terrence's pre-made polyjuice and morphing into him, he didn't plan on going out looking like his roommate again. Besides, it would be awkward if they ran into each other on the street, after all.
Thanks to his previous days on the run, Anthony knew very well how to conjure a good polyjuice potion. His parents had taught him and his sister essential spells and potions high above their skill level so that they could continue running if anything happened to them. Eventually it had, and Anthony had made the brew for him and his sister until they had both gotten caught. There were enough ingredients in Terrence's little dungeon to brew a couple of batches. That was it. With him using one for his little birthday gift, and then Anthony brewing the last bit for the day, there was none left.
It was clear to him that he was going to need to return to Diagon Alley for potion supplies, especially if he wanted to start shaping up on some of his skills. He hadn't done much in over a year, and it was time to change that. So after plucking a few hairs off of a random Muggle that lived down their street and then making sure he forgot why he had a nasty bald spot in his man bangs, Anthony returned and chugged the polyjuice potion.
Then he turned into what he thought might be the most attractive looking lesbian in the world.
The boy was too pretty, and with his nice hair and his blue eyes, looked nothing like Anthony. Which was perfect. He wanted a disguise, and now he had one. No one would know who he was in the wizarding world, and that was fine by him.
He hadn't received any strange looks once he'd traveled to Diagon Alley and began shopping. Well, except from a few women, who he decided must be questioning their sexuality. The apothecary was his first stop, and once inside, Anthony immediately knew what to look for.
He didn't just get a few items, here and there. Nope. Anthony didn't plan on buying for an army and making himself appear to suspicious, but anyone else would think he was either a teacher or running some weird underground sex operation.
