The only acknowledgement Blaise gave Zach when he first appeared was a nod. Even though he hadn't waited long, the wait he did have had gotten under his skin - or maybe it was something else he couldn't place. He didn't pull off any sort of greeting, which was more like himself than he'd been in days, silent and stoic, acting like a statue rather than a human.
"Fine," was all he even said while Zach went to work, shoving his hands in his pockets and leaning against the wall beside the door. He remained quiet, glancing over to catch any progress every now and then. Mostly he just stood there, watching down the halls for anyone that might suddenly show up or decide to return to his bedroom.
