It had been a long couple of days, especially for the servants. Lockdowns were not nearly as fun as the idea would imply. Of course, she was vaguely biased considering she wasn't returning to much menial labor once the damned thing was over and done with. Pansy never asked her to do much of anything lately. And at least this time she had company.
After showering and changing her clothes so she wouldn't smell completely like a troll she found her journal just where she'd left it, on her bed in the alcove. Except that there was a bit of parchment sticking out of the front cover. Curious, the redhead took that bit out before opening up the book. Scanning the note quickly, she'd have sworn her heart actually stopped.
Quickly she started flipping back through her journal entries trying to see if there would've been something life-threatening that she could be incriminated for. But not seeing anything she let out a sigh of relief.
A flash of anger pulsed through her. And she couldn't stop herself from scribbling a quick note to him in her journal.
