Shaela felt her tense, pulling her tighter into the embrace, hoping to comfort her. "I went to Professor Snape's office. He was pleasant, polite even. They asked me over and over everything about my morning. When I got up, what I did, who I saw." She looked down, something finally clicking in her sleep-addled brain. "They seemed very interested in anyone I ran across yesterday," her voice started to shake.
She glanced around once more, still no sign of him. "Ginny, don't answer me, don't let me know the truth, but I only ran across one servant yesterday morning, and he's not in this room. I'm beginning to think that's why they asked me back a second time. He's not here. Maybe they want to know if Bill saw him on the grounds?"
