They waited. And waited, and waited. There were no windows in the small room, but Bill estimated that a full day and night had passed. Most of the servants had slept. He had been both amused and a little concerned to see that the Longbottom boy had fallen asleep on Ginny's shoulder. He was glad that the boy was no longer locked up, and he certainly looked thinner than he had when Bill had last seen him, but he hadn't realised anything like that was going on between him and his baby sister. He decided not to say anything, though. He wasn't sure if Ron had noticed.
The door opened, jerking most of them awake again. Bill watched as a member of the MLE came in and muttered to one of the men guarding them. One of them turned and pointed at him. The new man beckoned. When Bill hesitated, he snapped. "You, Weasley. Mr Crouch wants to see you."
Bill grimaced. Fantastic. Perhaps Fleur hadn't been wrong to worry about him after all.
