Shaela really was far too tired to care what he was doing, and really, even if she wasn't, being involved with anything Anthony did was generally not good for one's health.
His excuse seemed plausible enough, especially as she'd done the same thing when she'd been unassigned.
She chuckled slightly, "Quite the pair, hmm? Well, good luck. I'm hoping to nap later myself, maybe, depending on how the day goes."
It wasn't that she was callous, but their circumstances really were such that if they all moaned and groaned, they'd all end up depressed enough to not leave their beds and simply die of apathy or disgust. Focusing on the things they could control just seemed logical to her.
