"Good!" Romilda said enthusiastically, unfazed by his fierceness. She liked it, actually. Anyone who was that ferociously enthusiastic about loving someone was a very good thing. He hadn't explained, exactly, but she could fill in the blanks.
She grinned at him, giving his shoulder a little playful shove. "Hey, I'm sorry, yeah? I'm just making conversation! You made me curious."
There was nothing wrong with curiosity, as far as she was concerned. Admittedly, her methods could have been better, since she'd apparently managed to tick him off. But a boyfriend of Tracey's could be convinced to like her well enough with time, surely. Romilda knew she could be an acquired taste, but he wasn't running off, so she took that as a win. Small victories.
