"If this's t'be a proper meal, an' not just a pack've sandwiches down by th'lake, then... then I reckon y'd need t'work on courses. Like a starter an' then have th'sandwiches f'r a main course, maybe wie some salad? An' then puddin'. Would y'think a flask've soup'd be guid f'r a starter? Soup an' some lovely fresh bread'd be very... very nice. Sorry," she said, apologising for the pause.
She was overly jumpy anyway, given who was in the building, but since Rahne's senses were much more acute than those of almost everyone else in the school, she was possibly over-reacting to every single sound she heard, or thought she heard. She couldn't make out anything that was said, but she could just about hear Dr. McCoy and Professor Xavier's voices as they talked with the inspector. Things didn't sound entirely friendly, wherever they were.
