Rahne was flicking through her own cookery book, filled with hand-written recipes and stuffed to overflowing with printed-out recipes she'd found on the internet. She hadn't slept much last night, worrying about why the inspection hadn't happened, so she was desperately trying to concentrate on picking recipes for Molly's surprise date plan. Rahne thought it was a lovely idea, very thoughtful. Taking a drink of tea, she looked round at the picture Molly was pointing out to her. Looking back up to reply to Molly, she almost smiled when the other girl made a face.
"T'be honest, if y're wantin' a picnic, y'd be better off havin' stuff that's not too messy, an' that's easy t'clear up. At least, that's what it said in one've th'books y've got. Posh sandwiches, buns instead've a cake, an'... I cannae r'member what else, but th'book's that'n there." Pointing over at the book that was beside Hisako, she tried to stop her hand from shaking, but she was just so nervous. Concentrate on the recipes, Rahne. "It also suggested havin' bubbly wine, but none've us are old enough t'buy any, y'ken?"
Her hand wouldn't stop shaking, and she was sure her voice was all over the place as well. Looking over at Hisako, she was pretty certain she'd know why straight away, so she just smiled very slightly and drank more tea.
