narrative: Destiny Who: Irene Adler When: Friday Oct.10, noon-ish Where: Her new fortune teller's shop in Westchester What: Finishing settling in and opening for business. Rating: G
Irene sat down in the high backed, burgundy chair she would use when doing readings. She planned to mostly stick to palms, but she might throw in a little Tarot reading now and then. She'd see the spread before she laid the first card. But there was a little more risk in the cards, as the client would easily know if she slipped.
She closed her eyes and sighed. The newness of the shop should pull in a fairly good crowd of the curious and the skeptical. And a few true believers, of course.
It would also, she hoped, attract a certain someone from the past. If it didn't, she'd just go looking. But she was fairly sure Raven would come to her, even if the when was foggy. The reaction her return would spark was even more vague. C'est la vie.
Irene stood up and tucked her hair behind her ears, then went to the door. She turned the sign so that it said open. Now all she had to do was wait.
