Rahne kept curling up tighter to the point where Sofia was wondering if she felt sick, but she hadn't mentioned that quite yet. Instead, she listened to what the girl had to say. The amount of concentration it took was surprising to her considering how long she'd been in America, but then again Rahne wasn't American. She wondered if they had trouble understanding her with her thick Spanish accent, though it wasn't as bad as it was when she'd first arrived.
"It is stupid." She said evenly. "It is stupid to remove harmless mutants and keep dangerous ones." She was attempting to rally the energy to say she was doing this as a political statement instead of just being selfish, and it just wasn't happening. She could probably make herself at home with another family if she made the effort, but she didn't want to. She felt she didn't have to. "Did you tell your mom about it?" She probably would have if her mom was still alive. Staying with her mother was far more preferable than staying with her father who probably wouldn't take her back anyway.
