In Morph's mind, Cait was a shapeshifter. Just a shiny, metallic one. There was nothing unusual about that, which was obvious from the way he didn't gawk at her like most people must have.
He shrugged off her comment, following her down the hallway. "Hopefully good enough." No jokes, no teasing. This wasn't really like Morph at all, certainly not your standard X-kid. Because in his mind over and over were playing all the clips of Tabby, and when people did things like that to his friends, something snapped. He could take the time to feel guilty about it all later, but this had gone on too long. It needed to stop.
"How...discrete can you make yourself?" He was already shifting into another form, a different FoH member. It would be easier for him to get around looking like one of them. And all he wanted to do was find Tabby.
