The other guy followed her in - the other guy who was suddenly a girl, and Mercury made note of the change. She didn't know the guy, didn't particularly care about him, but still, she'd try to avoid slitting the wrong throat if she could avoid it.
And she had to admit, Morph was pretty slick. The sapiens hadn't managed to do anything other than stare angrily at her before they went down and Cait nodded thanks as she continued down. First turn left had a guy already coming around it, drawn presumably by the sound of gunfire. He stopped to gawk at her, like everyone always did, no matter how comfortable they thought they were with mutants.
Cait just rolled her eyes. Ignoring the weapons at her hips she swung one arm out, the limb lengthening and hardening as she did, smashing the guy in the side of the head and sending him crashing into the wall with the equivalent of a solid steel baseball bat. Her hand was already returning to normal as she looked back over her shoulder for Morph.
