Thread: Angel & Havok
Who: Warren Worthington, III & Alex Summers
When: Monday, September 8th; noon (Yes. Hush.)
Where: random coffee shop somewhat in the vicinity of X-Factor Investigations
What: Warren contacted Alex via E-mail about something. So they meet up for coffee. Oh, Warren, you take your dates out to the nicest places.
Warren tried desperately to be punctual. He really did. But traffic was a nightmare and he wound up being late. 12.12 PM - an interesting time to see in digital, a frustrating position of the hands on the analogue watch he wore. Well, at least his driver had gotten him there in one piece. Blue eyes scanned the sign and Warren nodded imperceptibly to himself. The cheerful jingle of a small grouping of bells on the door of the cafe served to herald his entrance. Startled by the sound, Warren paused in the doorway and looked downward at the bells before moving onward and into the cafe. His eyes caught sight of a familiar face and Warren made his way to where Alex was already seated. They were as secluded as one could get in such an establishment, offering a small bit of privacy but it was not too much of an effort that it wound up looking suspicious. "Afternoon. My apologies for making you drop everything for me," he said in greeting. Warren carefully slid into the chair opposite Alex, his back now to the cafe but trusting the man enough to feel at ease with the positioning. "How have things been since your rather public announcement?" |
