Alex picked up the card, looked it over, tapped it on his chin as he looked off in thought and then he was back with her. "I've heard about your operation. What do you have in mind?" He wasn't going to jump to conclusions on what she meant and he also wasn't going to try for a direct hire. They could get mutants almost as powerful as him without much effort so clearly she was looking for more.
Since X-Factor went public, and was openly against the current registration laws, they had got a lot of attention. It was the first time Alex's service with the government was out in the open and because of the fact he was the leader of the first government funded mutant team (the existence of that being a shock as well) he had found himself with a bit of pull. Reactions were mixed, as always, but politically he had become a player overnight.
