School supplies. Bobby had always hated having to go on that shopping trip with his mother and brother. It always meant one more day of summer was gone, and it was that much closer to school starting. That was before he had begun attending Xavier's school of course, and before his parents found out just what Xavier's school was for.
Bobby had been doing his usual hanging around ritual that Tuesday evening, not really having anything to worry about. Well, unless worrying about liking Paige counted. It was nice, really. Sure the registration thing was going on, but until that really became a problem, he was going to do his best not to think about it.
He was on his way out of the kitchen, a bag of chips in hand, when he heard the car pull up. Licking his fingers, and then neatly brushing them off on his dark blue basketball shorts, Bobby made his way to the door. Setting the open bag aside on a small corner table, he peaked outside before opening the door.
"What's in the box, Jokey? What's in the box?" he asked, trying his best to pull off a heavy Brooklynesque Mobster accent, but failing horribly.
