narrative: morph
who: Kevin Sydney
when: evening, July 17th
where: computer lab
what: introspective tiemz. No, seriously. Morph is dead set on getting Tabby out of...whatever she's in, and so he's researching and thinking.
It bothered Morph when he lost his temper. Anger wasn't his emotion. He preferred amusement. It made him seem like he never took anything seriously, of course, but he was okay with that. What he wasn't okay with was friends getting hurt. There was nothing amusing about that, and he wasn't in any mood to deal with flak from that Pyro character because of it. He briefly wondered what Pyro thought about the comment and him -- Morph was ever so desperate to be accepted -- but this time he didn't care. As long as Pyro accepted his help and let him go after Tabby, that was all that counted.
But now he had to wait for whatever orders might trickle through to him. Would he have to fight? Would he infiltrate the Friends of Humanity? Would the Brotherhood end up ignoring his help?
Hopefully not that last one.
He owed Tabitha everything, and so he'd do anything for her. She found him and gave him a home when no one else wanted him. Even if that last bit of time with the Hellions left a bad taste in his mouth, they were a group. Some members just left. Tabitha just lost her mind, and it broke his heart. The last thing the 'Hellions' did was rescue Petra, and by the final day, it had just been Morph. He never abandoned his team once, and he never would. Maybe he didn't really talk to Sarah or Ian once they had resurfaced and started with the Brotherhood, but he still had some loyalty to them.
So ever since that email and the exchange with Pyro, Morph had had a more serious glint to his eyes. He was still around the mansion, he still smiled and laughed, but he was spending more time by himself. Preparing.
Knowing the enemy was key to a battle, and that's what he was doing. Finding every scrap of information about the Friends of Humanity and internalizing it.
He would take them down from the inside by himself if he had to. No quarter given. And for once, Morph was dead serious.
