It wasn't so like her to turn in so early, but she didn't have anything else to do. The case had been wrapped up nicely and she'd gotten her money. She was still a little paranoid about people recognizing her. Usually when you jumped ship, you skipped town too, but she didn't want a complete second chance. Not really. She just had to face up to what she had done and who she really was. It was something she hadn't done in a long time and looking in the mirror was getting kind of scary the last few months.
