Paige, to her credit, managed to keep a straight face and a stoic expression. It helped, slightly, that Julian had given her an appraising once-over. The 'gesture' had put her guard up just enough to be annoyed which battled the amusement perfectly. The welcome caught Paige off-guard and she looked at Sofia blankly before mentally kicking herself. She toed her shoes off and nudged them into an orderly line just under her bed and out of sight. As she did so, she spoke. "Actually, it's more of a welcome back to the mansion. But thanks. Was gone a little longer than I'd originally planned." There would be plenty of time later to get into that area of her life. Roommates, unless completely at odds with one another, tended to gab late at night. Not that they'd be built-in-best-friends but... still.
