Hank chuckled quietly. "I didn't mean to offend, Cecilia, and if you were a lesbian I would still consider you capable of advice. Nothing wrong with that sort of thing. I admit I, too, once dabbled in the idea of partnering with the same gender----it seems that there's a lot of convenience in same-sex companionship. Women understand one another, and men are notorious for not understanding them at all."
His eyes sparkled at his little show of wit and he stood in order to pour himself another cup of coffee. "I would ask you if you were excellent in your relationships with men. I would ask you about your marriage. I would ask you about a lot of things, since in the end this is largely an excuse to open you up and get you to like me." He smiled sweetly.
