Cait couldn't help the quirk of her lips at Rogue's little motivational speech. Sure, it was all well and good to talk about equal rights, or mutant supremacy, especially when the only thing different about you was a streak in your hair. Not that Cait actually had a problem with Rogue, or any of the other mutants who stood up for her rights. But saying that something should be possible and then actually having to test the waters yourself were completely different.
Which was in no way Rogue's fault. Cait just shrugged, looking way. "Somethin' happened," she confirmed. "I got unlucky, they got tazers. Ended up okay, I guess -- I'm here, and all. Just a little bit pissed off." Which the punching bag probably gave testament to, although Cait resisted the impulse to look back at it and see exactly how much of a beating she'd given.
