Narrative: Spider-Man
Who; Peter Parker
When; February 22nd, 3 AM
Where; Peter's head, then lower Manhattan
What; Peter's still hearing that voice in his head when he sleeps, so he ends up pulling on his tights and checking out Manhattan, even if he can't do much with it.
"You ready yet?" "You again? Don't I have more important things to dream about, like ... dead people or something?" "Answer the question." "Do I sound ready?" "You sound hostile." "Wonder why that is." "Stop it." "Get out of my head." "I am your head, Peter. I've told you that." "Why does my head sound like a woman?" "Because you're an effeminate little girl on the inside. Will you just shut up and listen?" "That's a stupid question." "This isn't working right now, is it?" "Another stupid question." "Ugh. Fine. But I'll be back." "With guns?" "...Good night, Peter." ------ Peter had shrugged off Liz Allen's murder at first, but it didn't feel right anymore. It hadn't felt right at first, but ... well, what were the chances it had something to do with him? He was still preoccupied with getting body parts in the mail, and as much as he didn't want to think about it ... he knew whose they were. He knew. But ... with his luck, it was the same person. It was the same person, and it was his fault, but as good as he was at what he did, he didn't have very superb tracking abilities. So even as he found himself in lower Manhattan at 3 in the morning, there was nothing he could do, other than mutter, "What happened to you, Liz?" |
