So much for that plan. Her shirt was ruined for the day and she'd have to change it, not that she was thinking about that at the moment. No, she had a sobbing girl in her arms. She didn't understand why the girl didn't want to go home, then again Sofia didn't really have a place to go home to. She was stuck here, and this was her home and she was making the best of it. Zuzha on the other hand. "I am sure your mother is just worried about you. I bet my mother would make me come home too if she knew." and was still alive.
Oh and her dad probably would have taken her back in too, if he wasn't an anti-mutant bigot. She didn't want to think poorly of him, but it was hard not to after the way she was treated. She wasn't going to blame him for wanting to get rid of her when she pulled the huge stunt in his store for attention. She just didn't want to get deported to a home full of people she didn't know, or worse off a random orphanage full of kids no one else wanted. That's sort of what this was, except it wasn't. These kids were being trained to do something useful, unlike wasting away years of her life scrubbing floors, right?
"I think you are very cool for a non-conformist, Zuzha." She said making sure to give the girl a hug and rub her back. "I will try and find some boxes. You will be leaving at the end of the week which means you do not have to pack just now, right?" Always look for the bright side.
