Thread: Accord and Mermaid Who; Jack Bantock and Arla Lawrence When; February 17th, evening Where; McNally's Bar and Grill What; Jack's really bored, so he offers to answer Arla's questions in exchange for food and beer. Too bad she didn't know it was that easy in the beginning, right?
Jack Bantock was easily bribed, especially when he asked for said bribe. After that clone fiasco, all that was really going on with Sinister was that weird fixation he had with the Mirror woman, and Jack's job with that was over. There was no reason to hang around Sinister and watch him wank off to the Japanese woman, which meant a drink was in order. And a burger. With onions. But no mustard; mustard and onions never went together.
McNally's was actually owned by a small middle eastern man (or whatever he was) that had begged and pleaded up and down to the government to keep his bar open, and as a result, it had attracted quite a few mutants who needed something to eat and a place to get drunk. It was dingy, it had gone a bit to seed, but the food was still good, so Jack waited at the table for Arla, smoking what must have been the last of the pack that day.
