Who: Sarena Alexander and Elvyran Adelaide
when: Evening Feb 13
Where: Ren's Room
What: Ran fessed up about killing Carol and Ren's basically drowning her sorrows in alcohol. A cigarette wasn't quite going to cover it.
There were several good things about having a room to herself. One of them being that if she decided that she wanted to sit up and drink herself stupid, so long as she didn't go anywhere, it was unlikely that anyone was going to notice.
Granted if Ran stayed past curfew, someone might notice, but otherwise, she didn't see that really being a problem either. There were quite a few of them who were old enough to be considered consenting adults and as long as she drug herself to class the next morning, she didn't see much of the point in anyone enforcing a curfew on her.
Ran might not have been a drinker, but Ren could drink like a fish. Truthfully, she wasn't really interested in drinking more than was necessary to get a good buzz. Ran had killed Carol. Had the woman had it coming? Oh yes, cause she was nuts off her bloody rocker and decided to attack other people who really didn't need to be attacked. As it stood, she had been okay with that. Ran having done it changed the name of the game a little bit.
It was kinda like adding a weight onto a house of cards that it just wasn't quite ready to bear. Things started to fall down. Hence the need to sit down, have a drink, and put it in perspective. She was on her second shot before the knock on her door and perspective was proving to be hard to find. She left the shot glass sitting on her desk, next to the Math book that she was about ready to chuck across the room. Math was not her strong subject, but she kept trying, mostly because she liked Arla and knew there had to be something to it for the woman to be that devoted to the subject. Messed up jeans and a sweatshirt from some college she had never heard of, but liked the lion on the logo, she went to answer the door.
