[23 Aug 2018|12:49am] artcollector Just a quick FYI. I'm leaving today (in like an hour or so) to head up to Phoenix to catch a 6am flight to NYC!!! I'll be there for the weekend and be returning on Monday at like 9pm ish (then the drive back from Phoenix >.<). So, will I be around? Possibly, a little. Feel free to poke me on IM, but if I don't reply know why :D. Will I tag? Maybe at night if I'm not just enter the room and asleep. [06 Aug 2018|06:33pm] ever_distant Hello there! BB here bringing in another character; just couldn't resist. XD Say howdy to James Michael Anders; AKA Mikey or Traveler. Mikey is a 38 yr old traveling merchant, originally from Eagen Minnesota. Since the world ended he has been travelling from town to town, buying/selling/and trading wares and has been a semi regular of Carter for the last two years. The man is an honest merchant, and something of a pacifist too; preferring to try and resolve disputes with words instead of violence. For all the Scavengers in town, Mikey is a reliable man to trade with, and he always offers a fair price for scavenged goods, as well as for the things he has brought to town to trade as well. As far as powers go, James only has two...but they are both quite useful in his line of work. Firstly; Mikey possess the ability to manipulate distance (which sounds super weird and kinda vague), which allows him to do a few neat things. Mainly though he uses this ability to travel between towns...physically altering the distance between himself and wherever his is going, so he can get there in a single step. That said, he's no teleporter. His second ability is Navigation Intuition; which allows him to know where areas, people and things are, the distance from where they are to another location, what routes can be taken, which direction the desired location is, etc. James has been renting a small house in town; mostly used to store goods he's picked up over the last few years. Still he's always in town during the days that the market is open for trading. Plotty goodness is always fun! ;) post comment

This is Tobi and she had been studying to become a doctor. She is currently 33 and is gender-fluid and pansexual. She has healing powers and is mostly a drifter. [24 Jun 2018|08:35pm] athousandlies Hey everyone! Jaclyn here bringing in two characters! First- Raphael "Raph" Davies. You guys might remember him from wraiths. He's not much different, save for he doesn't have the knowledge of his past, so he's pretty happy. He enjoys his work, and loves acting as a scout and a look out for trouble. He's been around for about 4 years, doing what he can to help and protect the residents. Need something? He's a great guy to ask to go out and find it. Second- This guy, Maximus "Max" Black. He's the owner/operator of The Pioneer Saloon. There are rooms for people to rent on the second floor, and a few upstairs for very close family and friends to permanently live in. (He does have one brother out there!) Plus his office is upstairs. He likes to make everyone feel like they're his best friend, and they're the most important person in the world. Truth is, he probably couldn't care either way what really happens to them. He's quite the morally grey character, but not totally heartless. Resources Currently has a list of the radio channels so when people wanna reach out and say hi without actually visiting face to face. Each person has a channel that is assigned to them, it's typically respected by all that you don't go into someone elses channel until they tell you to. Otherwise most people stay in the main town channel. Also the Sheriff and Doctor(s) have a second radio that is locked into their own channel that's meant for emergencies only. Also added a list of birthdays. post comment

[11 Jun 2018|05:53pm] foreverunseen BB here bringing in a new character! Lol, meet Alex baker...aka Ghost. Alex is a sweet young man, who just happened to remain unnoticed most of the time. Ghost literally goes unnoticed by anyone and everyone unless he makes an active effort to be seen. Granted it's a useful ability to have when it comes to exploring and scavenging, but it's also something of a lonely life too. Still he's managed to make a few friends, and has a decent sense of humor about things; even though he can get annoyed when the folks he was sitting with just think he upped and disappeared. post comment
