Nothing about this mindscape business and shared memories thing made any real sense to Zero at all. Yet the man kept pushing forward, even as the pain seemed to intensify greatly. This last 'scene' floored him completely. Not just the brutal waves of agony, but in actually seeing the events unfold...seeing what had happened to him before Zero woke into the world with no memories at all. Oh there was no fear when the void surrounded him. Just pure unadulterated rage at the raider who had done this to him. Who had made him a victim, and tore away the memories he once held so dear. When Liam spoke of it being his fight, and he saw the embodiment of the bandit before him, there was no hesitation at all. It wasn't about restoring his mind. Or even about his sister just then. No Zero...TJ...desired to destroy the fucker for all the pain and the years of being lost that he had had to endure. With a single thunderous gunshot the bandit fell to the ground. A single hole torn through the figments skull as smoke drifted from the barrel of Zero's gun.
