There was no denying that he had considered killing JJ. After all she had apparently been the one behind his kidnapping, and being taken against his will wasn't really something Zero dealt with lightly. However since that first day, since that moment in the stairwell, he had already decided to let her live. At least as long as she made good on her word to send him back if things didn't work out. However here and now, as Liam mentioned her fear of Zero killing her, the man just sighed and shook his head. The question of staying or going was weighing heavily on his mind. Honestly the thought of sticking around to have his head played with wasn't a pleasant one. Still this little town seemed devoid of the daily violence he was used to. The supply of food and water was good too. And beyond that...well he felt something for JJ as well. It wasn't a feeling he could readily identify, but at the very least Zero knew he had no desire to harm her. After considering it all, and weighing the options carefully, the man finally spoke up at last. "She's got nothing to fear from me. I...can't say that I feel love for her, she's still a stranger to me, however I see no harm in sticking around for a bit. At least to try and figure out if you can't help get my memories back. However if anyone else tries anything again, well I won't go looking for a fight. But we both know I won't hesitate to defend myself either."
