Zero was usually a patient man. Or at least as patient as a man of his rank/station among a tribe of raiders could be. Still he had agreed to two days, and that time was rapidly coming to an end...and in the last forty or so hours he was no closer to getting any answers. When the woman, who claimed to be his sister, finally got a hold of the local doctor. By the time Liam arrived TJ was already on his last nerve, and his body was tense at the sight of seeing the man draw closer. It took everything he had not to aim his gun in the doc's direction, but still while he kept himself calm that firearm remained gripped in Zero's hand.
The prospect of having a stranger go poking through his head was not appealing at all. However despite that instinct to shoot first, and not even bother asking questions later, Zero kept himself so very still as he listened to Liam talk. The instruction to close his eyes had TJ's jaw tightening, and that hand of his holding the gun trembled a touch too. There was no real trust back in Spokane. Everyone there for the most part was out for themselves only, and showing weakness in from of someone else was a sure fire way to end up dead. But at last, with a sigh, TJ closed his eyes and listened to the voice now in his head.
Just watching the scene unfold before his 'eyes' was so very strange. The little girl was almost familiar to him; almost identical to the girl he had seen in his scrambled dreams. However the rest of the memory itself barely was recognized, beyond a distant sense of deja vu. "No. I don't..."
