Oh that new spark of pain really did go far to keeping Alex alert; well alerting and cursing again for a moment. Those sleepy looking eyes of his shot wide open, and when she started to clean his head wound the young man started to cringe, but didn't feel much pain there at all. "Well it's cool that I don't need stitches at least."
Her question was met with a nod of his head, and Ghost watched her moved to get something she needed. However as he looked on a new thought popped into the young man's mind...causing him to disappear appear once more. For a moment Alex just felt so stupid; realizing that he had forgotten to bring something with him to trade as payment for her services. So with a soft sigh he considered it and suddenly slipped back into the shadows. A minute or so later the young man reappeared in the clinic...along with a large piece of machinery that he had snagged from a hospital he had scavenged a few months ago. Honestly Alex had no clue what it was, but it looked to be in good condition, and the town he took it from was long since abandoned. So he wasn't worried that anyone would miss it. Seeing her there made Baker refocus, and suddenly both the teleporter and the object he was touching were suddenly visible. "Sorry bout that...forgot to bring something to pay you with. Not really sure what this thing is, but I hope it works. If not I can get something else if you want, Doc."
