Sure he listened to the radio a bit; not all the time since Alex traveled quite a lot, but whenever he was home he tended to turn it on. So when she mentioned TJ the name rang a pretty clear bellt, and the news that it was her brother just put the pieces together. For a moment a look of wonder and real happiness rose when JJ shared the news that she had gotten the tip. However that look gave way to a brief pained expression...when she suddenly brought up payment. He had never asked her for payment before, never really asked anyone for it either. Oh he charged a little for the courier services, but other than that Baker had been all for helping out his friends. Granted no one else really bothered asking him for his help; except for the Sheriff, or maybe one or two of the scavengers on a rare occasion. Still it hurt a little that she thought he'd do it for a fee, and hurt a bit more when JJ suddenly tried to get him to back out of helping. As if he was ever worried about raiders at all. "I...well it's cool that ya got a good tip about your bro, JJ. I can totally take you there if you want, and it's not like I'd be the one in danger." Of the two of them he was far more worried about her being spotted. Especially since he could literally walk unseen amid a horde of raiders, and she couldn't. "If you still want to go that's fine with me...can keep your stuff too, cause I wasn't looking for anything in return."
