The smell was wonderful, she could almost smell it form her house. But she hadn't been home, she'd been heading back from the general store. After the Market that week she heard a tip about some items they'd gotten and went with some things to trade. So she had a small bag of canned food, some straws, a knife sharpener and a handful of seemingly random items; a tube of toothpaste, a small thing of vinegar and some baking soda, along with three plastic cups. Sanda had been in a bit of a hurry as she headed down the street, but the smell from the barbecue made her stomach growl. A small detour wouldn't be the worst thing.
Wandering up she saw the large man on his porch cooking and a small smile found it's way to her lips. "Hey Sheriff, smells like you're trying to make the neighborhood jealous." She teased.
