When she shook her head at the offer of corn Bear made no effort to press. The meat had been satisfying, and for the first time in a while the man felt nice and full. Plus if she was hungry they both knew all she'd have to do was ask and he'd grab her some more to eat. "Glad it hit the spot. Made the dry rub myself, and the sauce was homemade by Lisa. Girl may not know a damn thing bout meat, but she's got her sauces down to a fucking art form." With a grin he lazily stretched out in his chair, getting comfortable and settling in. Oh he'd have to get up in a few to check on the grill, but for now the Sheriff was quite content to sit for a spell.
"No need for thanks. The company was good, so I didn't mind keeping it. Glad to hear bout the still too. Not sure I'll drink much of the shine though. That stuff tends to make folks go blind, more often then not." Oh he'd try a little, but for the most part the big man was good just drinking something a tad weaker. "So you two all settled in at last, or are you still getting adjusted over there?"
