Morticia had always made it a point to keep to herself, especially in town. Which meant wandering off on her own a good majority of the time. It was always the same runs for her, surgical masks and glass jars. She knew she shouldn't be doing these trips alone. But they were rare and she never got into any trouble. Much like the run, she did a few days ago. She'd been home but a few hours when those raiders were brought to her attention. A simple nod between her and Bear was usually given. Not many could do her job, she knew this. But someone had to make sure the bodies were taken care of and gone.
The smell was always bad, but never lasted longer than two hours and those in the town had gotten used to it now. So, while those bodies burned Morticia would be outside her home, long red hair tied back into a bun, as she wore that white blood-stained apron as usual and surgical mask along with her face. The gloves she typically wore were put away as she made sure to have long black elbow length gloves this time. The same she always used while working.
Still, as she came to take a seat at the steps of her house, she did notice the town seemed fuller. More people. Which meant more mouths to feed and more raiders learning about their little corner of hell. That, worried her. But there was nothing she could do about it.
