Draco had guessed that Justin would probably opt to dress up a little bit nicer then just casual to this event. He was guessing this because, well, that just seemed like something someone raised with a significant financial advantage would do. And Justin wasn't so far off from Draco in that aspect, at least. The least he could do would be to make his...well, his boyfriend, Draco reasoned out, more comfortable even if the rest of their peers had chosen to dress rather casual for the event. Dressing in a brand new pair of designer slacks, coupled with an emerald green silk shirt and brand new Italian loafers on his feet, Draco looked the perfect picture of the rich kid. His hair was loose tonight, rather than sleeked back like it would have been among his parents' friends. This sort of casual gathering wasn't going to be anything like those parties, but even so, Draco was prepared for anything.
Arriving at the restaurant that Justin had booked their table at with a small flirt toward the waitress who showed him where their table was, Draco beamed contently when his gaze landed on the former Hufflepuff. He'd been right after all; Justin had rather dressed up, and the young man cleaned up nicely, after all. Draco caught Justin's eye, and then he saw the girl--vaguely recalling her to be another former Hufflepuff with the last name of Bones but unable to recall her first name. He stared at Justin for a split second, wondering just how much Susan knew about her former housemate, or how much Justin had indulged about his and Draco's start of a relationship. This would be so much easier among Slytherins, because subtle movements would give everything away. But Draco was out of his element, being the only Slytherin surrounded by two Hufflepuffs at the moment. He waited for Justin to acknowledge him, deciding to let Justin set the pace for the evening.
