Kingsley refrained from making a face at his title and waved a hand to the chairs by his desk, "Please, have a seat Mr. Malfoy."
He studied the young man carefully, he looked like Lucius certainly, but his eyes told a different story.
"I wouldn't be surprised to hear from any of the trainees especially you as one of the last to remain in the demonstration."
"I meant what I said at orientation. I lived through two wars, obviously that means we didn't do it right the first time. But some people seem stuck in the mud and I am counting on you and your cohorts to help us find ways to not have history repeat itself"
Malfoy had kept his tone neutral and done a good job, but his comment had surprised Kingsley. He was sure there was more.
