Straightening up and dusting off her jumper, Hermione hurtled herself across the room and onto Ron with a loud squeal, "Ron! You made it in, didn't you? Of course you did, I mean, how couldn't you? Where's Harry? Obviously me made it in, too. I didn't have time to stop and find the letter, but I had to come over and see you I'm so sorry I haven't been around. New job and everything, you wouldn't believe what a mess that office is, but that's not important, because you're an Auror now! Well, an Auror-in-training, but that's not important either. We need to celebrate!"
She finally paused for a breath and beamed down at Ron, before squeezing his neck in another tight hug, "I'm just so proud of you!" she choked out, telling herself she wasn't going to cry over this, because that was stupid. Really, really stupid; but here she was, getting choked up sitting in Ron's lap with him in a choke-hold.
Releasing him once more, she quickly wiped at her eyes laughed, "So, when are you going to get piss drunk? Or have you already, Ronald?" she frowned at him, the usual sternness creeping back into her voice.
