They still might, Draco thought wearily, but he didn't dare say that outloud. Draco just knew his parents, and the mention of Arthur Weasley had triggered this train of thought in Draco's brain. If he wanted to prove to his parents that Ginny was right for him, didn't he need perfection in order to do that? There could be no weakness, no lapse in judgment, once they moved on to the official part of getting to know the other's parents.
"M'sorry, Gin," he murmured in a muffled voice against her hair. "I just got caught up in the idea of your father possibly coming home and...and what might happen when he does. I'm not quite ready for that yet, I don't think."
