Ginny,
Consider this the first in my attempt to win you over. I've attached with this particular owl a package specifically designed for you. Within this package, I've included seven roses, each one having its own specific meaning that I will explain carefully now.
The first is the yellow and red rose. This one signifies the start of a friendship, but the red, of course, couples that friendship with love. I know we've shared things with each other that we cannot possibly explain to anyone else, but I can also know that we haven't quite reached a high level of love quite yet.
The second is the orange rose. This one defines desire, which we obviously both feel for each other and shall continue to feel for each other I think for a long while.
The third is the dark red rose. This one consists of an old tradition, but it symbolizes a deep sense of beauty in whomever its given to.
The fourth and fifth ones consist of the red and the white rose. I chose to tie these two together for a specific reason. The red is the obvious declaration of love, whereas the white represents anything from innocence to me declaring that I'm worthy of you, in the older traditions. But tied together, these two roses declare unity, something that I feel our situation in particular would require greatly in order to survive the future.
The sixth rose is lavender, which defines my enchantment over you.
And finally, the seventh rose is the blue rose. This one is an unordinary rose but it signifies the fact that for many reasons, you are the unattainable, Ginny. To attain you would be going against everything I've ever survived and everything that my family believes in. I'm willing to fight for it just as I recognize that this is the truth, hence my inclusion of this rose.
They are charmed to last as long as you desire to have them live, Ginny. It's a simple spell, but simple say the word, "Nox" and their lights will end. I give this trust in you and realize that romance is obviously a two way street. Share with whom you wish these roses, Ginny, but remember that I'll be aware of every movement that you make. I'll interpret who you share these with very carefully, as with these roses I represent my feelings for you. I trust you, however, to make the best decisions for this, after all, I am the one who openly gave you such a precious glance into my feelings toward you.
The game has begun, Ginny. This is only the first of many things that I will do in the near future.
I cannot feel like I can yet say that I love you, but remember the yellow and red rose if you ever doubt that I could love you.
