Harry exited Penny's office his mind whirling. He had a list of thing he had to do and the first was to buy a house. It had taken a while because the government had to establish a line of credit and everything else for Harry James, but it was done.
A large bank account was set up and he had his Gringotts vault make regular deposits into it. He even had investments in the Muggle stock market. For all intents and purposes Harry James was a loyal tax paying subject of the Crown. Even if he was rich enough to never have to work a day in his life.
Harry felt strange spending so much money but it was for a good cause and was to keep him safe. It wasn't frivolous. He checked the business card in his hand that Penny had given him. It was a Realtor that would sell him a home near Hyde park which he though was perfect. Not only did the area hold fond memories for him which he liked but it was easy walking distance to the Tube which would explain his lack of car.
An hour and a half later harry was standing in the foyer of the recently purchased modest two bedroom town house. He couldn't help but grin and try and imagine the look on Uncle Vernon's face. He spent a few minutes introducing himself to his neighbors and talking about how he would be moving in in the next few days. It wouldn't take long as the townhouse had come with basic furniture.
He made one last stop at a printer, to pick up business cards Harry James and glanced at his watch. He might just make it home for dinner after all.
