Harry cleared the bed and made haphazard piles on the floor and sat with his back against the headboard. He shrugged, "A combination of things, but you started me thinking. I talked to Hermione and her reaction was similar to yours. Then I went to see Kingsley, because I realised that not only would I need his okay, but he would be another perspective."
He ran his hand through his hair. "He had good things to say about how I've rarely had to make decisions that weren't life or death and that basically I needed to change my decision making process."
He chuckled, "I don't think he was going to okay it anyway, but he didn't try and force me and I think I needed that."
"I went to Gringotts to look in the Potter Vault for some books and found a Pensive and I reviewed my lessons with Dumbledore from 6th year because something Kingsley said struck a chord."
He took a breath, "And I realised that this time was different just like I said in the letter."
