Ginny had risen early, and gone for a run. She was pushing herself, pushing harder than she ever did when she was training for the Harpies. What had started as a four mile run had stretched into seven, and her body was aching. She finally turned down the winding path to the Burrow, and stumbled into the kitchen.
The Burrow was empty. Charlie had come and taken her Dad to his flat the night before, and Ginny has sent Lili with him. She knew that the house elf would have much more to do, taking care of those two than taking care of her and Harry. She had gone to bed as soon as they left, her stomach in knots. She had no idea when Harry had come back, but he was in bed when she rose.
She drank a glass of pumpkin juice and went upstairs to change. It was only six, but she thought she should start on the inks. It would take about an hour to prepare the ingredients, then another six hours to brew. Maybe if she got lucky, she could go see her Dad this afternoon.
She finally got ready, and went into George and Fred's old room. She had brought up a large table from her dad's workshop the night before, and placed two cauldrons on top. Kreacher had placed the ingredients on the table after his shopping, so Ginny was ready to begin. She turned on the wireless and go to work. She figured Harry would join her when he was ready.
