Well, who was he to hate her for her honesty? He couldn't bite back the jealousy that flooded him when she brought up Ginny, but as of right now, they weren't dating. She could like whomever she wanted, technically. "As long as you're honest, I suppose, I have to forgive you for that one." He smiled lightly. "Besides, losing you to Harry...wouldn't be so awful right now." Draco paused to sip at his coffee, letting her work out that statement on her own. It was a backhanded compliment to Harry, of course, and Draco recognizing that Harry was one of his friends now, not enemies.
"I'm actually leaving the socialite world for a good while, I imagine. I'm not making any public announcements over it, but they'll get the hints, soon enough." He ran a hand cautiously through his hair, just out of habit. "I've had enough of its chaos for now. I have other things that I care about at the moment. Marriage will just have to wait." He couldn't really say anything about her job, knowing he'd be tempted to insult those Muggles she was working with. And that wasn't a good way to remain friends now, was it? Biting his tongue on that topic, Draco skillfully shifted the conversation away from it. "It's time the world remembered that I'm a Slytherin for a reason."
